I have always been interested in creative activities. But it was my husband, Paul, who encouraged me to take classes and begin drawing in earnest. Initially, when I was (much, much) younger, I worked in pen and ink. My drawing was interrupted by a rewarding and demanding 34-year career at Northwest Natural Gas Company. My goal was to return to art when I retired, which I did in 2000. Along with my art, I enjoy my little dog and my big garden.
